Starting today, April 8th, we will be locking the gates to Barry Field during the school day (8am-4pm). This is for the safety and security of our students and staff. The gates will remain open on the weekends and non-school days. We appreciate everyone's understanding as we strive to make SISD a safe place for our students, while also serving our community!

We WON! For the 2nd year in a row, Smithville ISD has taken 1st Place in the It's Time Texas Community Wellness Challenge! Congratulations to our Future Problem Solvers! These students competed in the Regional FPS competition and qualified to advance to the STATE Competition! From left to right: Penelope Gutierrez, Rori Meuth, Gideon Blaeuer, Lily Gardella, Kenzie Jones.
This will be Lily's 3rd year to qualify, Gideon and Kenzie's 2nd year, and the first time for Penelope and Rori, who are 6th graders. We are so proud of them!
